Comic-Con International 於週四公布了本年度的 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards 入圍名單。
以下漫畫作品入圍「最佳美國版國際漫畫—亞洲」類別：
* Hirayasumi (作者：Keigo Shinzō)
* Land (作者：Kazumi Yamashita)
* Tokyo These Days (作者：Taiyo Matsumoto)
Chang Sheng 的 Yan comic 和 Sanho 的 Purgatory Funeral Cakes comic 也獲得了該類別的提名。
Kazumi Yamashita 的 Land manga 第一卷為他贏得了「最佳編劇/藝術家」的獨立提名。
Shintaro Kago 的短篇漫畫故事「Blood Harvest」和「The Curse Room」入圍「最佳短篇故事」。(兩者皆收錄於 Brain Damage 這本集結 Kago 短篇漫畫的書籍中)。動畫導演 Rintarō 的 My Life in 24 Frames per Second manga 入圍「最佳圖像回憶錄」。Kodansha USA 出版的 Katsuhiro Ōtomo 的 Akira manga 第一至第五卷精裝版，入圍「最佳檔案/收藏專案」。
Andrea Horbinski 的 Manga's First Century: How Creators and Fans Made Japanese Comics 入圍「最佳學術/學術作品」。The Art of Manga (設計：Tessa Lee) 和 Fruits Basket : The Complete Box Set (Collector's Edition #13) (設計：Wendy Chan) 入圍「最佳出版設計」。Viz 出版的 hakei 的 DeadAss 則角逐「最佳數位漫畫」。
去年，Taiyo Matsumoto 的 Tokyo These Days (翻譯：Michael Arias) 贏得了「最佳美國版國際漫畫— 亞洲」獎項。
漫畫創作者 Gō Nagai 將於今年入選 Will Eisner Comic Awards名人堂。
